They aim to grow the game of hockey by providing financial assistance to under-resourced student-athlete through their Microgrant Program, and advocating for community rinks. With the help of 53 players and goalies, 9 volunteer referees, our friends and family, and donations from 5 companies and 6 individuals, were were able to raise $5,000 for Chicago Hockey Initiative. Gilley's Last Hoorah (right) came into town for a bachelor party and left as the first champions of The Miller Show.
2nd Annual Tournament

Matt Olson
presented by TPC Construction

Matt Olson was playing for the USPHL's Chicago Cougars when he caught an edge while racing for a puck behind the net. The February 2016 incident left him severely injured and he will need on-going care. Matt and his family graciously allowed us to donate the 2016 tournament's proceeds to them. You can follow Matt's story here.
Once again, with the help of our family and friends and thanks to corporate and individual donations, we were able to host a very successful tournament. This time we raised $4,700 and Lottie's Leafs (pictured left) raised The Miller Show Cup.
3rd Annual Event

Make-A-Wish
in honor of Mason Orchard
The vision of Make-A-Wish is to grant the wish of every child diagnosed with a critical illness. In the United States, an average of one Wish is granted every 34 minutes.
This year was extra special to us as Mason and his family are immediate members of the RMU hockey family. At the request of his parents, proceeds of 2017's event were donated to Make-A-Wish.
Thanks to the enthusiastic participation of our friends and generous support of our family, as well as corporate and individual donations, we were able to host a very successful RMU Alumni vs. Current Players game.
